2017 has started off with a BANG for us!

Here are some awesome features Fluid has had in some local publications!

9NEWS Denver Feature : Tech Tuesday

“A company called Fluid is making it easy for people to save money by renting people’s items instead of buying them. And at the same time, they make it easy for people to rent their items out and make money. There have been a few companies that have tried to do this and have not been able to make it, but Fluid has a couple of new ideas to help make this concept work.”

Built In Colorado 50 Startups to Watch

“Colorado’s tech community experienced continued growth in 2016, as talent and companies alike made their way to the state and began to settle in. Now, we’ve got our sights set on 2017. For our annual list of startups to watch, we’ve carefully selected 50 Colorado-based tech companies (all less than five years old) we predict will make waves in the next 12 months.

Fluid hopes to help people reduce waste, meet their neighbors and make a bit of cash. Through their app, users can let people borrow items in exchange for a small fee. Users in need of anything from an electric drill to a Tesla Model X (no, seriously) can request to borrow the item for a set amount of time. Fluid launched in Denver late last year, and it’s already got an impressive array of items listed, including a Phantom drone, a waffle maker and a yoga trapeze swing.”

Handshakin Blog : Side Hustles You Can Do From Home

“Rent your lawnmower, tools, Macbook and more on Fluid Market. Fluid is an app similar to Turo, although you can get way more than just cars on it. I also have many other items listed like a beer pong table I never use and other electronics that pull in some small passive income with minimal effort on my end.”

Business of Apps : 56 Startups That Got Funded in Q4 2016

“Fluid, a community sharing app, secured a total of $1.7 million seed funding from GroTech Ventures, Correlation Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and several angel investors. The company, which helps people to rent items to and from their neighbors, will use the money to fuel its ambitious growth plans.”

It’s so exciting to see community sharing grow! Thanks for all the support, Denver, and we’re looking forward to growing tremendously this upcoming year!
